House Rules & Guest Agreement

By completing a booking with Starlight Getaways you (the guest who books, the “Primary Guest”) agree to these house rules on behalf of everyone in your party. Property-specific rules shown on the listing or in your confirmation also apply and, where stricter, take precedence.
Who can book & stay
- The Primary Guest must be at least 18 years old and present for the duration of the stay.
- The reservation is for the named guests only. The home may not be used by anyone not included in the booking.
- You agree to provide accurate booking information and, if requested, to verify your identity.
Occupancy
- Total guests may not exceed the home’s maximum occupancy shown on the listing (children count toward occupancy; infants under 2 do not).
- Day visitors or additional overnight guests are not permitted without prior written approval.
No parties or events
- Parties, events, and large gatherings are strictly prohibited.
- Commercial use, filming, or photography for profit requires prior written consent.
Quiet hours & neighbors
- Please observe quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM and be considerate of neighbors.
- Excessive noise or disturbance may result in cancellation of the stay without refund.
Smoking
- All homes are non-smoking indoors. Evidence of indoor smoking will result in additional cleaning and remediation charges.
Pets
- Pets are not permitted unless approved in writing in advance. Unauthorized pets may result in additional charges and cancellation.
- Trained service animals are welcome in accordance with applicable law.
Check-in & check-out
- Check-in and check-out times are shown in your booking confirmation (typically 4:00 PM check-in and 11:00 AM check-out).
- Late check-out without approval may incur an additional charge.
- At check-out, please secure the home, dispose of trash, and leave it reasonably tidy.
Care of the home
- Treat the home and its contents with care, and report any issues promptly so we can help.
- Do not exceed posted limits for hot tubs, grills, or other amenities, and follow all safety instructions.
Damage & security deposit
- The Primary Guest is responsible for any loss or damage beyond normal wear, and for excessive cleaning, missing items, or rule violations.
- A refundable security deposit or a temporary card authorization may be required for some stays; if so, the amount and terms are disclosed before you pay.
- You authorize Starlight Getaways to charge or invoice the payment method on file for documented damage, excessive cleaning, or unauthorized charges, up to any cap stated at booking.
Violations
We reserve the right to decline or end a stay, without refund, for any material violation of these rules or applicable law, or where the safety of the property or community is at risk.
